About:

Hapaki Mininan is a unique educational district in Cahokia, comprising five islands situated in the middle of the Mizizibi River. This district is solely dedicated to the education of all Cahokian children, from early learning through university level. Although no one resides permanently on these islands, they are a central part of Cahokian life. The islands are naturally occurring but have been enhanced and stabilized to support educational facilities. Each district in Cahokia contributes to Hapaki Mininan, striving to provide the best resources and facilities for the city's youth, making it a prominent showcase of the city’s commitment to education
