Overview
Located in Regions & Continents:Makasing:The Free Lands:Cahokia’s Regions & Continents:Makasing:The Free Lands:Cahokia:Nabanamo district, this mound is steeper than most, with a flat top where yawpon is prepared and served. Tables and chairs are arranged both on and around the mound, while alcoves carved into its sides feature benches and tables illuminated by hanging lamps. Above, large feather-like sails sway in the breeze; in unfavorable weather, these sails fold down to cover and protect the mound, creating a cozy, sheltered space for visitors.
